This house’s shingle style exterior is in keeping with its Martha’s Vineyard setting. Its interior features elements from the English arts and crafts movement, which was roughly contemorary with the historic period the exterior suggests. Details inside refer to works by Charles Rennie Mackintosh and C. F. A. Voysey.

The owners’ collection of stained glass was incorporated into the house. I designed this house when I was with Charles Rose Architects.
